What is RSS? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and with it any site can syndicate news and information from any web portal that offers an RSS feed. RSS Feeds are simple XML pages that can be read by either a Feed Reader or News Aggregator (which we supply). By linking to our XML page via a reader you will be able to display RSS Feeds on your sites for your visitors to read and use. We recommend "RSS2HTML", which is an easy to use online application that can get you up and running with RSS.
How to Read RSS? There are downloadable applications called "News Aggregator's" which allow you to subscribe to various content feeds of your choice. RSS can also be incorporated into weblogs or blogs which are very popular. There are more technical ways of including feeds on web pages such as scripting with ASP or PHP etc. The best way to find out more is to do some research on the Internet, for example, do a Google search on "RSS feeds", where you will find all the answers. |
